If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’re probably aware by now of Amazon Prime Day. If not, but you’d still like to get the scoop, I will tell you everything you need to know.
Basically, it’s an annual sales event that Amazon promotes for its Prime members only, where you can get amazing deals from electronics to fashion to beauty to home, and everything else in between.
This year Amazon Prime Day was pushed back from the usual July date due to the Coronavirus pandemic to October 13-14. And even though we’re just a few days away, there’s still time to prepare and even shop earlier for some of the deals.
If you’re already a member, this is a great opportunity to get a head start in your Holiday gift shopping. If not, don’t worry, there’s still time to become one until Prime Day. Here are some of the benefits you get with Amazon Prime:

What are the best deals on Prime Day?
A few days before Prime Day, Amazon lets you have a sneak peek of some of the deals of the event. This year the best deals seem to be in the electronics and home department. But they’re not limited to those of course. It also depends on what specific item you’re looking for. But here are some of the deals we’ve seen so far:

In the Beauty Department, some of the brands you can expect to see at a big discount are Conair, Aquafor, Coppertone, Eucerin, Nivea, NuFace, Paul Mitchell, Bioderma, Oribe, Redken, Mario Badesco, Pureology, Nioxin, Stila, PMD Beauty, and more.
Final Words
These are just some of the amazing deals featured in the preview. Every day prior to Prime Day, Amazon updates its landing page with new deals. So keep checking in often.
I recommend bookmarking the landing page because that’s the page you’ll use as a reference to find the deals once Prime Day kicks in. There will be a lot more deals come Oct 13, including some bigger ticket items.
Regardless of how good of a deal an item seems to be, always do your own research first. Check other retailers for the same item to see if the discount you’re getting is in fact a good deal compared to the original retail price. I recommend doing this a few days prior, as items do sell fast, so you don’t want to wait too long before hitting that purchase button.
